250 years ago, on October 12, 1765, the act of solemn consecration of the Santa Capilla del Pilar took place. This marked the culmination of almost a century of renovations to the church in Zaragoza, with the involvement of the highest authorities in Spain at the time and the participation of the most brilliant architects, painters and sculptors. The result was a unique work of art, worthy of the transcendence of the place: the Virgin of the Pillar of Zaragoza, which is venerated there, has become through the centuries the most important Marian cult of Christianity. In commemoration of its anniversary, this documentary reviews the history of its construction. All those who live around the Pilar (canons, priests, employees or the beloved 'infanticos') will do their utmost to make this year's celebration a special one.
